List Of Ingredients:

1. Rasatva Dhania/Masala/palak mangodi – 1/2 cup

2. Gram flour (besan) – 1/4 cup

3. Curd – 1 cup

4. Rasatva cumin seeds – 1 tbsp

5. Mustard seeds – 1/2 tbsp

6. Rasatva green fenugreek seeds – 1/4 tbsp

7. Rasatva turmeric powder – 1 tbsp

8. Rasatva red chilli powder – 1 tbsp

9. Rasatva coriander powder – 1 tbsp

10. Whole red chilli – 1

11. Garam masala – 1/2 tbsp

12. Rasatva rock salt – as needed

13. Curry leaves – 7-8

14. Heeng – a pinch

15. Oil – 1 tbsp

Servings – 2

Recipe:

1. Soak 1/2 cup masala/dhania/palak mangodi for 5 min.

2. Take a bowl, add 1 cup curd and add 3 cups water.

3. Add 1/4 cup gram flour and beat the mixture to make a lump free runny mixture.

4. Take a wok, add 1 tbsp oil on medium flame and heat.

5. Add 1 tbsp cumin seeds, 1/2 tbsp mustard seeds, 1/4 tbsp fenugreek seeds, a pinch of heeng and let it crackles.

6. Add 7-8 curry leaves, 1 whole red chilli break into 2 pieces and saute.

7. Pour the mixture in the saucepan, mix properly to avoid lumping and let it boil.

8. Add 1 tbsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tbsp garam masala and rock salt as per taste.

9. Mix, stir continuously and let it boil for 10-15 min.

10. Add the soaked mangodi and cook for 5 min and switch off the flame.

11. Serve the hot and delicious kadhi mangodi with steamed rice.
