Dhania Mangodi Rice

List Of Ingredients:

1. Rasatva Dhania Mangodi – 1/2 cup

2. Rice – 2 cup

3. Green peas – 1/2 cup

4. Potato – 1/2 cup

5. Cauliflower – 1/2 cup

6. Green chilli – 2

7. Ginger – 1 small piece

8. Garlic cloves – 4

9. Onion – 1

10. Tomato puree – 1/2 cup

11. Rasatva turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp

12. Rasatva red chilli powder – 1 tbsp

13. Rasatva coriander leaves – 1 tbsp

14. Rasatva cumin seeds – 1 tbsp

15. Rasatva garam masala – 1/2 tbsp

16. Rasatva rock salt – as needed

17. Oil – 1& 1/2 tbsp

Preparatation Time – 10 min

Cooking Time – 15 min

Servings – 2

Recipe:

1. Take 2 cup of rice in a pot, wash them and soak them 30 min.

2. Wash, peel and chop the veggies.

3. Take a cooker, add 1 tbsp of oil and heat on medium flame.

4. Add 1 tbsp of cumin seeds, a pinch of heeng, finely chopped ginger, garlic (optional), green chillies, onion, and saute till become golden.

5. Add 1/4 cup tomato puree, 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tbsp garam masala, rock salt as per taste, mix and cook for 2 min.

6. Now add 1/2 cup green peas, 1/2 cup potato cubes, 1/4 cup cauliflower florets, soaked rice, fried mangodi and mix them properly.

7. Add 4 cups of water and mix well.

8. Close the cooker lid, let it cook for 2 whistles and switch off the flame.

9. Transfer the hot dhania mangodi rice in a serving plate.

10. Serve with pickle and papad.
